openSUSE is a free and open source Linux distribution developed by the openSUSE project. It is offered in two main variations: Tumbleweed,
an upstream rolling release distribution, and Leap, a stable release distribution which is sourced from SUSE Linux Enterprise. Requirements A PC with a 64-bit processor. ( 32-bit processors are not supported)
A minimum of 1 GB RAM. ( However, 4GB RAM is highly recommended)
10 GB disk space for minimal installation and 16 GB for the Graphical Desktop (More would be better)
Installation
Prerequisites
16 GB Free Hard disk space
Bootable USB/ DVD
Internet connectivity (Optional) 1. Download this ISO file.
2. Create bootable USB disk using Etcher. Download link: https://www.balena.io/etcher/
3. Boot from the USB stick.
4. Set Up Language, Location, and Keyboard.
5. Configure Network.
6. Set Up Users and Passwords.
7. Partition Disks.
8. Finish final Configuration.
9. Start Up after reboot |
